sounds like you've done everything right so far (songs are on IPOD itself, right?). I suspect that your only problem is that the songs don't have track numbers attached to them.

Within itunes library, highlight the song, right click on it, select "get info". Then when info box pops up, select the info tab. You'll see song name, artist, album title, etc. One field is the track #. I suspect your downloaded songs have either no track # or they are all zero. Enter the appropriate track numbers for show order (may have to look back at the show info on IA to find) and then you should be in business.

See these messages below as well for info on using with IPOD. p.s. I suggest the vbr.mp3 files for the IPOD....much better than the 64k versions.
